Everything Industrial: Ichalkaranji

I have come to this place, to visit my dad. He has been working here for years now. This place is well known for its industrial base which has been made strong for nearly a hundred years now. Amongst all the existing industries here – the textile field plays a vital role in the economy, making differences at the national level.

You can find small scale mills of looms in every corner of the city. My father says there are nearly 1,25,000 looms in this city alone. The looms found here are of the traditional kind. And, the industry along with its growth has come up with new methods for fabrication. The traditional looms are still being used on a high scale because of the high demands for cloth in the industry.

A popular name given to this city is “Manchester of India”. It has about 25 spinning units. The daily turnover of the textile industry alone is about a thousand crores. According to Wikipedia:

Before 1980 Ichalkaranji was known for cotton poplindhoti, and cotton saris. In the mid-1980s, weavers of the city started producing denimcanvaschiffon, and fabric for school uniforms (khaki drill).

Fabrics such as seersuckerOxfordherringboneripstopchambraytweed, and twill made in or around the Ichalkaranji city are used by many domestic and international fashion brands such as Raymond’s of India, ArmaniBanana RepublicHugo Boss, and Paul Smith.

The lifestyle of residents here in Ichalkaranji is that of minimalism, productivity and rigidity. It is a typical Maharashtrian city. The city is still in its age of the pre-developing state, to which the residents are not bothered. That is what makes them different.

There are not only mills in the city, but outlets for spare parts, just like the one in which my father works. He manages deals with huge demands from Nepal. That is the outreach of this industrial base.

When you first look at it, it might seem to be just another industry with basic demands. But, when looked in – at depth – it is as giant as any new tech industry, but of course with its own closures.

That’s all for this post. I am aware of not having posted for three weeks in a row. I was not busy, and clearly, I don’t have a good reason. Thank you for reading and supporting this page. When I had few goals and more time

It can just be said that I have done better than present in my near past. I used to simply put myself into the pit of work and stay there for as long as one could imagine. I was very stubborn when it came to my near goals or ambitions. I used to put my entire focus on making that happen for real in life for once. I still have these traits, not bragging – just mentioning that they have faded their colours a little. I am working on it, daily.

I am gifted just like you are. Not everyone can have the same traits, you might have something better or worse than what I have. But, what matters is that it is unique to you. At least to the world, you are aware of.

I used to wake up at 3 a.m. in 2015-16. It had a reason behind itself. The only goal I had during that time was that I get better at solving problems in mathematics and science (excluding Chemistry, I still am not in love with it). I used to try and collect information about Biology also, even though it was not a subject I chose to study in my Pre-University course (Senior High School in the U.S.A)

What has changed now is the fact that I am focusing on too many goals at the same time. Considering time to be responsible for growth, it is the most right thing to do in the present. But, maybe my mind is not grown well enough to handle so many goals at the same time. I might have to just slow down on what I am doing. I need to give my mind it’s space to just allow as many goals as it can handle.

A couple of projects are very important to me to keep myself going. Maybe that is the growth I need to give up myself to. I have kept writing to be among-st the top things I am currently doing, or have to keep doing.

I suggest you let yourself go and not harm your growth, maybe it truly has something better coming up for you in the future. Else, you might not be aware of it happening right now in the present.

What if all phones got hacked?

Imagine all the phones in this world doing one specific thing, like ringing or playing a video, at the same time. With no control of the personal user over the device, it can be a real mess and surely fatal in terms of peace with the world. It will be a situation of first happening in terms of united action in the modern world, or in other words – the biggest integration of a human extension.

Elon Musk has talked about how serious the situation might get, once all the Teslas got hacked. The team behind the security of Teslas makes sure this does not happen, to even a single car by using hard-to-understand technology. Let’s keep it that way now – hard-to-understand technology. This means various levels of encryption to the system’s incoming and outgoing messages of instruction. To make it safer, the Tesla will not accept any instruction given by the user himself, inside the system, which might lead to the dysfunctionality of the car. In similar ways, your phone needs a lot of digging to be done – to change the way it works with a huge difference to the usual way it does.

If anyone succeeds in hacking every single phone on this planet, he literally has access to an extension of what we may call – the human mind. The hacker can create a mess of such tension that it will be hard for the good guys to solve it in a short period of time. This gives the hacker some more time to make sure he/she gets the work done. There has to be a definition of this “work”.

After getting into the system

This “work” can vary from just playing audio to making phone calls that matter. Of course, hackers with such skills of managing to conduct this act will have a better and deadly purpose. It might be a piece of fake news sent by the government itself to make wrong movements in the country, which might lead to a state of panic in the society. An incident in the past records this:

The hacker group Impact Team broke into the Avid Life Media servers and copied the personal data of 37 million Ashley Madison users. The hackers then incrementally released this information to the world through various websites. The effect on people’s personal reputations rippled across the world, including claims that user suicides followed after the hack.

You can see that the information of every user might be at stake. A simple misconduct by the user can result in serious consequences.

Are you safe?

It depends on various factors. It also mainly depends on the security protocols set by the manufacturer of your device, be it even your computer. It can be concluded on a higher level of understanding that no one is safe – if the hackers come with a new approach, which is not being prepared for by the protocols. A simple link sent to you on WhatsApp might lead to your phone getting hacked for disclosure of serious information.

We are living in that time of technology where we are just starting to understand it. It will take years and years to come with a solid structure to define what “technology” really means with a bigger sense.
